If you’re up for an adventure then trying to find the Tiger Gyoza Kawaramachi on your own might keep you busy for a while. Located at the end of an alley there is actually a tiger logo that’s recognizable from the street, hence the name Tiger Gyoza Kawaramachi.
Like a dive bar, this is a great place for drinks after your meal. If you’re still hungry, they offer an array of gyozas (dumplings) for you to choose from. The lamb gyoza is a specialty well worth trying. Their most famous gyoza, however, is the pork banana gyoza, which is extra-large and shaped like a banana. And as it is quite large you can easily split it for two people. Perfect for after a long day of sight-seeing among the historical streets of Kyoto!
