Back in 2013, Ohanabo was among the Top 25 B&B's and Inns in Japan by TripAdvisor's Traveller's Choice Award, and it's easy to see why it received that honor. The Ohanabo has traditional Japanese-style rooms with air conditioning and tatami floors. You can eat multi-course dinners in your room, which they call "kaiseki." Before dinner, you can visit the Higashi Hongan-ji Temple, which is right across the street, or the Kyoto Tower, which is within walking distance of the hotel. After a full day of sightseeing, relax with a nice massage or a hot public bath. At night, you can wear your complementary Yukata robe and sleep well on the Japanese futon bedding.
