Most ramen restaurants are calm and relaxing places, but if you want to try out something completely different, then Menbakaichidai, which specializes in creating havoc and setting your meal on fire is a pretty safe bet.
Their “Fire Ramen” is a green onion noodle soup that chefs set on fire after adding hot oil to the dish. Guests have bib and hair ties given to them so that the flame doesn’t burn them all up. The broth is soy-based and thinner than at most other ramen restaurants, which is perfect for a light (and eventful) meal.
If interested, you can also sign up for classes at the ‘Ramen University,’ where students can learn how to make their own ramen, including the Fire Ramen. In short, this is a place where you can have fun!
