松坂屋名古屋店

Dozens of luxury brands at one of Japan’s largest department stores

One of the biggest shopping centres in Japan, the Matsuzakaya Nagoya Department Store is spread out over 3 large buildings in the city’s Naka district.

The store is mainly occupied by upscale brands and is home to more than 50 luxury fashion, jewellery and cosmetics boutiques, with marques including Dolce & Gabbana, Tiffany & Co and Yves Saint Laurent.
More traditional Japanese clothing including kimonos and yukatas can be found on floor 8 of the main building.
Floors 4, 5 and 6 of the south building are home to a large branch of electronics chain Yodobashi Camera, with everything from mobile phones to large screen TVs for sale.
The Pokémon Center Nagoya is located on floor 5 of the main building and stocks thousands of toys and collectibles from the series.
The 9th and 10th floors in both the south and central tower feature a range of gourmet dining options, including Japanese, Western and Chinese cuisine.

The south building is also home to the Matsuzakaya Art Museum, which regularly hosts famous exhibition pieces from all over the world. Past displays have included pieces from Cairo’s Egyptian National Museum and a collection from Vienna Art University.
