If you're looking for seafood on Osaka's seafront, Koryu should be your number 1 option. Head chef Shintaro Matsuo brings his creative dishes come to life as he grabs preconceived notions of Osaka food, and changes them in his image. Examples would include a tuna dish served with egg yolk soy sauce. Furthermore, meals are always served with Naniwa vegetables.
Ever popular, you must have a reservation when coming to Koryu. In total, only 12 seats are available located around the counter-top that surrounds the kitchen like one would expect from a typical American kitchen. It is also one of Osaka's four three-star Michelin restaurants.
