Originally founded as a used bookstore, Book Off has grown to be one of Japan's largest retailers in second-hand goods .
The brightly lit Super Bazaar branch in Nagoya occupies the entire 8th floor of the Skyle building and boasts a vast collection of previously owned manga and anime.
Customers are encouraged to ‘try before they buy’ - a massive plus for fans of Japanese comics, and it isn’t unusual to see people in the store for hours just reading without actually buying anything.
This store also stocks CDs, video games and a decent selection of second-hand clothing.
If you have any unneeded books, in English or another language, take them along, and the store may buy them off you.
